Crazy is as Crazy Hikes

For any avid explorer, thru-hiking the PCT is a bucket list trip of epic proportion. It takes a special kind of crazy to want to spend 4 - 6 months away from home, enduring heat, cold, dirt, hunger and pain.

However, there are countless things that could come in between a hiker and successfully thru-hiking like budget issues, freak injuries, snowstorms, extreme illness, and many others. In this section we'll break down some of the challenges unique to thru-hiking that ARE in your control like resupply, navigation, and permitting.
